    Hey, good for you, Fredwina.
"My predominant feeling is one of gratitude. I have loved and been loved;I have been given much and I have given something in return...Above all, I have been a sentient being, a thinking animal, on this beautiful planet, and that in itself has been an enormous privilege and an adventure." Kind of cold (33 degrees) but extremely windy with gusts up to 40 mph. Layering kept me acceptably warm but I decided to surrender at 36 miles. In my opinion, riding in constant, challenging headwinds counts for bonus miles. It was a superb strength/LT workout, though. Snow is predicted for Sunday into Monday, so I want to get my miles in despite the cold/wind since I'll probably be joining Coach Troy on my trainer for at least a few days.
