I'm with Mr. Silver -- a little bummed when I read this thread -- I was hoping for more bra technology too! I'm just looking for bras with straps that stay on my shoulders!

Mr. Silver -- I haven't seen 'em, but a way up in the north Canadian acquaintaince of mine once told me polar fleece bras are the way to go in winter!

Oh Geonz - have you had the same experience as I?? Two summers ago I was heading for my annual trip to CO, going through security at Dulles outside of DC. The scenario was something like this:

TSA agent: "Would you step aside, we need to search your backpack."
Me: "Sure"
TSA agent dumps contents of backpack onto table - including helmet, shoes, purse, books, etc. etc., then says "AHA!! This is what we were looking for" as he holds up my Park Allen wrenches.
TSA agent: "You cannot take these on the plane"
Me: "I need that to reassemble my bike when I arrive at my destination."
TSA agent (smirking): "You cannot take these! If you want them the only thing you can do is check your backpack."
Me: "I don't want to check my backpack. May I ask why I can't take these on the plane?"
TSA agent: "Because you might use them to take apart the plane!"
Me: "So what do you do with this stuff after you confiscate it?"
TSA agent: "We throw them away."

It so happens I was assigned to a seat beside an off-duty flight attendant & related my story. She assured me - and we acutally LOOKED, too - that there is no place to use an Allen wrench in the cabin (or bathroom) of a plane.

I am not sure if your idea would fly (pun intended) on a plane - and I'm not sure of the comfort level of Allen wrenches used as underwire! *sigh*

If you fly frequently, you'll notice that the "profile" for invasive searches and substance confiscation is primarily elderly, feeble white people. Best I can figure is they target the Fox News demographic to make them feel more terrorized.

Technology is one of those things you either have a knack for or you don't. It's got nothing to do with breasts..

^_^ BF loves it when I talk tech. Even though I don't know the correct terms for what I'm doing I know what I'm doing. We got into a fight after he wouldn't give me back my mouse to fix a system error on my computer... HE WAS INSTALLING THE SOFTWARE WRONG!!! >_< lol I fixed it.

I only like people to do techno things if I can't do them myself...

I had TSA take away a kryptonite lock cuz they thought I would use it to hit someone over the head and hijack the plane. And those hooks on my pannier bag really concerned them too......... Made the error of using my pannier bag as my carry on since I was retrieving a folding bike at the other end. Now I pack everything in my checked luggage.

Hellosunshine, I agree with the others, not sure the connection between tits and technology, or lack thereof, but if you could be more specific about what info. you are looking for perhaps we could help. If its regarding bike repairs, Lennard Zinn's books are quite good, as is the park tool blue book and website. But, you can't be afraid of it, just apply logic. Look at the parts, and figure out how they work and you'll know what to do.
