I was a good girl and sent my SS package off today.
I feel so virtuous! It's not even the end of the month.
So, SS, it will be there as soon as the mailman delivers it.

Heading off to the post now
My ss sure will think we are twin sisters and telepathic too when she re-reads this thread when she gets it.
I couldn't believe my eyes!

All you need is love...la-dee-da-dee-da...all you need is love!
Came home for lunch and had a wonderful package from my ss. Everything is just perfect. She sent a bunch of different flavored hot chocolate, yum, Smartwool headband, TE post its and great pair of Lin socks with a pink sprocket on them. I've been eyeing them, on the featured products page, this week and are just what I wanted! Thank you so much. Your thoughtfulness is really appreciated! So, Salsabike are you my SS??
To my SS your package will be going out this weekend. There's just one more thing I want to get for it. Thanks for being patient with me....

Thanks to my Utah January Secret Sister! What a joy it was to open that box and find all the goodies. For all of you out there, I'm guessing maybe Sulis or Yellow (maybe there's another Utah TE girl out there?) sent me a wonderful polar water bottle, arm warmers (yahoo), you can never have too many arm warmers; defeet woolie boolie socks (my absolute favorite and warmest socks yet); luna bars. Wow, what a stash of great things! It is cold here, I can sure use all this wonderful stuff.
A huge hug to my SS - Laura. As my mom would say, you done good! I was exhausted when I left work today (why do four day weeks take so much out of you?) and was thinking of all I had to do given I have to work my other job tomorrow when I opened my mailbox and found a festive envelope with my name on it! Needless to say my energy level picked up some and a smile consumed my face. I rushed into the house, let the dogs out and opened my package, with kitten help of course. Inside, I found simply wonderful gifts - socks, hand warmers, sports beans and shot bloks (I've read about these but have not been able to find them - I'm excited) Thanks again Laura, I'm looking forward to finally having warm hands when I ride on cold days and toasty toes

Yes, and I am so glad you liked everything! I read all your posts for whatever I could glean from them, and it was really fun to do that. The Lin socks have a pink peace sprocket--I figure we're all wanting peace no matter from what direction...
But how did you know it was me vs. all the other Seattleites?

Hey, I LOVE Ground Effect--I went through a whole email thing with them last fall involving a custom pair of Witches' Britches. They are beyond cool. So to have a Ground Effect Baked Beanie hat is perfect! I am delighted to have the hand warmers because I am really subject to cold fingers. The purple-stripe NZ sheep socks are totally adorable. I would love to see NZ some day--Mr. Salsa lived there for about eight months and loved it. Also, as both a Wales fan and a knitter, I just plain like sheep. And I have yet to read a book by Lance himself, so thank you very much for that book. I did read and was totally fascinated by "Lance Armstrong's War" (just in case anyone needs a book rec).
