Bless her heart. I would feel that way about my new rain jacket too.

    Tell her to feel better.

Sorry to hear this. I can empathize as I had a radial head fracture a few years ago. Sending healing thoughts to bikegoddess.

WOW! How scary. Breaking an elbow... must be very painful. I can't even imagine.

Please send her my warmest thoughts and wishes for speedy recovery.

(((((((((((bike goddess))))))))))))) I know how painful it is ! Been there done that! I wish you a speedy recovery. At least it was your elbow and not your head!
Lisa-Very nice on changing your picture! It is from the honey thread. It made me giggle! Thanks forthe smile!

I was thinking about what she will need (she may already know this, I didn't and it took me a week to be able to gather it all and care for myself)...

box of tall trash bags, rubber bands, and waterproof tape to cover the cast in the shower (dr. advised that press and seal saran wrap, but it didn' work as well as the old trash bag for me)

shampoo, conditioner and body soap in pump bottles for one handed use. (I couldn't lift the bottle and shake it to dispense into the other hand)

Blow dryer stand/holder (I found one on ebay) made all the difference for one handed blow drying.

hope she's doing ok today....will she need surgery?

ps: didn't log on as myself cause it was mr.s laptop and I'm kinda awkward with it. It was just less steps to post. I still don't have too good of range of motion on my right hand/arm yet. On the desktop, I can tilt the mouse (it's a thumb mouse)to use it better.
