Doing nothing more than training for my two previous AIDS rides, no change in diet alone other than trying for more nutrition I dropped a lot of inches, I went down 4 pants sizes.

But my weight stayed the same.

Especially last ride oh baby I enjoyed the "bigger engine". That was fun! Chugging up hills I walked before, spinning up hills I plodded before...flying up a couple of hills I spun before...stopping on hills so I could give a stalled rider a running sprint push start.

Going by the numbers my weights scarey bad , 172 for 5'1"

Just gearing up now for June and wearing the same clothes. I feel good but would like to have to replace all of my jeans. The goal is be down to a 14 or even 12 by June.

I don't care about the weight, I just want to get stronger.

At 50 I figure I'm loosing muscle mass at a frightening clip. Take care of the strength and the weight will take care of itself.
Since I switched to the primarily vegan diet and added two days a week to my workout schedule I've been feeling fantastic but my weight isn't budging much (well not since that first glorious week of having it fall off of me ). I don't really mind though because I'm stronger and feel good, like you said "the weight will take care of itself".
