I'm not hugely overweight but I do need to lose my tummy, so I wear 16 if it's a good quality garment or 18 if it's some cheaper/off brand item. Same with shoes

I'm an 11 in shoes. I was a 10 before I had my daughter and went up a full size. 11 is tough enough, but if I were to have another kid, I'd have to shop at the drag queen stores for shoes.

LOL. It does kinda sound like it, doesn't it?!
But no, I take a size 9 if it is a good quality shoe, and up to 10 or 10 1/2 for crappy stuff (like the cheap sneakers and boots I buy just for working around the property and such...size 9 never fits).
