Re: finding a group to train with for Desperado...I just found a group of equally crazy friends. I think that BBTC has some sort of super-duper distance group as well...check with The Diva. Training for a 200 can be an intense training schedule that will consume your weekends if you're really serious about it. I remember in June/July last year I did consecutive weekends of 100, 112, 120, wee break down to 85, then up to 145. I'll never forget the 112; I was riding by myself, coming up the back side of Big Mtn, and it was 95 *F. Thank goodness for the beautiful scenery.
