Well, my blood tests are fine and the doc says I don't have anemia or a thyroid problem. She had me do a lung capacity test which came out with very good numbers. So, I don't know what to think. I haven't been on a bike since the end of November (cold weather riding weenie that I am), so it's hard to tell if anything is still going on. While hiking or XC skiing, my heart rate seems to get unusually high very fast, especially on hills, but I can still keep going if I don't push myself super hard.
Doc wants to see me again next week. I think she's thinking it's all related to depression as I mentioned I've been mildly depressed. Hum, lingering questions about the fibroid (and whether or not it's responsible for the fullness and my pouching stomach--or did I really eat more holiday treats than I thought I did?!), doctors that want to cut me open, cold weather...is it any wonder I'm feeling a bit blue?
I envy you gals with the year-round riding weather. I ride in colder weather than I used to (the right gear makes a ton of difference), but I still have rather weak limits.
Phew. Thanks for the vent.
