Yesterday DH and I rode 15.18 miles in 20 mph winds. We knew we didn't have much time to keep riding, so we came home and put on our running shoes. We ran around our neighborhood, which has some rolling hills. It was a little over 20 minutes, about 2 miles. I couldn't handle any longer, it was cold!

We really want to do a duathalon this year, I should probably try running after cycling more.

I am impressed with all the long runs, I need to build back up. With a little work I hope to be back in the 4-5 mile range in the next month.

I live in the Dallas area... and we rode yesterday too. UGH! Those winds were BRUTAL. I swear around 2-3 they got even stronger. My neck is so sore today from tensing up in the wind.

We (my fellow tri board people and I) rode 30 miles and then ran 2 miles. My run was so-so. Running into the wind... miserable.

If you want do a duathlon, you really need to try to incorporate bricks into your workouts, on a regular basis.

Well, keep up the great work!
