Well... I wanted to join this race, but the rules on bikejournal say you must never have done 2500 miles in a year before...

Although my 2006 goal was 3500km/2187miles... I actually rode just over 4000km which is just over 2500miles.

Good luck you 14... I would have liked to have been #15!

Courage does not always roar. Sometimes, it is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying,
    "I will try again tomorrow".

I just noticed that Team Estrogen club is #5 in the club ratings on BJ right now!

(Sad that I just barely do not qualitfy for the 2500 race, but at least my miles in general go towards TE club's overall miles. I'll be one of the 2500 race cheerleaders!! )

    Mea culpa!!!

Well, I should have had my coffee and read the rules closer before I joined the 2500 mile race yesterday (or whenever). I've exceeded that before so do not qualify. Sorry, girls! I'm passing the 2500-mile baton now to No. 2, Regina (go 7Rider!), and transferring my miles to TE's total. Just got back from our ride today and didn't get rained on until we were almost home. So a good day anyway.

There's another option for Those of Us who have too many miles in our past: the "Valentine's Day" goal of getting 400 miles by then. (Of course, where you live has a lot to do with how attainable that is.) It's not a race - just a mutual goal. Everybody's allowed, and a lot of eople have jumped on even tho' it's a long shot.

Yikes, seeing that big fat zero beside my name is certainly going to get me on that trainer. I've been out of town but going to get riding asap. Go TE!!!
