((((((Dar)))))) I hope it all works out hon.

Yes, I love my Cingular phone service, just not caring so much for the particular phone I have. I have never been able to hear people well b/c the volume on the Motorola I have doesn't adjust nearly high enough. I am in the market at this very moment for new phones and a phone plan. Their family plans are great. Lots of minutes, free call time, mobile to mobile free (very important to me these days)... And ladies, the rollover in itself has literally saved me 100's of dollars of overage charges, especially lately.

    Have fun KG!

So AG, when are we headin' to your LBS? Let's get OTG to come along. Maybe we can talk her into a mtb too. Oh, and Gypsy Angel too. (Hey, GA, ya lurkin' out there hon?) Make a day of it. Then when you take me out on the trail, I might almost be able to keep up.

Well, I've gotta get outta here soon. So much to take care of right now. Things are always out of control these days.

    See y'all later. Be safe.

Jeez Knot, just caught yer phone fiasco stuff. Ya want me to come out there and kick some shins? I may be coming out to that general area soon to take care of another pair of shins so one more set is no big deal.

Thanks, but my honey is taking care of it. (If it's not all better by the time she gets here, she's gonna do some phone calls for me.... heh heh heh. Battle of the Customer Reps! Maybe I should sell tickets? Hmmm.)

Um, er. **thinking, thinking... steam coming out of the ears** Yeah, ok. I hear Specialized Rockhoppers are good. AG, hook me up with your LBS, k? Ok Dar, I'll see what I can do about getting that time off. Is it just over a weekend? Or do I need more days than that? I may have to fly. Where the heck is Wisconsin anyway?
So now, who else is coming?? (Ya know, I may have to consider moving out west further just for the great rides.)
Oh yeah X, I have a Specialized Rockhopper. You will definitely need some suspension on this course. Bring OTG and anyone else - the more the merrier. And I would plan on coming up Thursday night or Friday and staying until Monday at the least. If you want to make a week out of it, my bday is actually the 2nd and we could travel 'round and do lots of riding and camping and drinking and such. To get to Wisconsin go to Ohio, continue straight through until you hit IL and hang a right. That ought to do it.

BMo3 - score on the carpet pad! Hang in there with the noise - just think of the relief that they're taking care of it and you won't have mold. You don't want mold, trust me.

    KG, have a great trip!

CWR - good luck Hon! Check in when you can and I hope all goes well.

Kit - congrats on the new place. Pix, we need pix!

Knot - ((hugs)) on your Verizon crap. I could tell you a story about them as well. I don't have dsl because I REFUSE to put in a Verizon line. I found a company called powercom that services my area so that's who my land line is through.

Trek - it's nice to know there's some good cs people in the phone world girl! Way to keep out Knot sane through this all.

Mimi - you inspire me to start riding my trainer. I took all the batteries out of my computers to reset them and the only one that won't turn back on is the one I use on my trainer. Go figure.

Thanks for all the hugs ladies. I needed them! I'm hoping he's bluffing again but I am ready in case he's not. I just need to organize all my documentation.

OK, my turn to go get some coffe....

    X-the Festivus "tree" is perfect.

Knot-good luck with the phone calls.

Dar-pity I do not know how to ride a mtb.

    (((((Kit)))))

Everyone else, happy Thursday! Not meaning to forget anyone, just have a few things to handle around here before I can play.

It takes all the muscles of the leg (and probably some lumbar muscles, etc) to kick shins, but only 5# pressure properly applied to kneecap someone.
    and if you hamstring 'em...

Dar, you shall get your pictures. eventually. it's going to be quite empty for awhile until I can get some nice finds via CL but it'll happen.

    Jen, X,- thank you xx,x.

Two Rockstars and where I'd normally be shuddering and having heart palpitations, I'm... ok, I'm shivering, and in an hour or so I'll have palpitations, but still feeling like I'm going to nod off. Rough morning. (spazzout removed.)

Here they call me "the Queen of escalation" as in I will go over your head to get this done. But I hope it's fixed...I'd rather see the Pacific Northwest while I'm there...yeah, that's it.

la maison du renard may need some... uh... furniture considered. Fortunately, there's a lot of the 'big stuff' free on CL. having friends in 'high places' in the financial advisor's office may pay off. "Oh, that old thing?" referring to a slightly dusty or otherwise worn but still nice couch or something sitting in their garage... oak entertainment centers they "would use as firewood"... come *on* people. Geez. Just b/c *you* don't care...

CC - when are you coming up? You and Ian want to do a 24 hour team mtb race??? (You know you want to ) and plenty of camping space....

Kit - so what does the new place look like? House or apt?

Date is with an older guy (8 yrs my senior), never married, no kids, 6'2" (I like tall guys!) non smoker, CYCLES, has a dog, intellect (ivy leaguer). We played phone tag for weeks and I gave up - thinking come on already. If ya wanted to talk how hard would this be? Then out of the blue he calls yesterday and we're heading out for a bite after work. I'll let you know how it goes.

Trek - (in my Arnold voice) da Escalator. So when are you, um, traveling north?
