I can pay my mortgage at Good Will? Maybe they will take the pile of Socks Without Partners in exchange for this months payment?

I read "Ain't no mountain high enough" by Linda Armstrong Kelly, Lance's mom over the weekend. I liked it - I enjoyed reading about her outlook on life and can see she passed it on to her son. It renewed some of my worn out mommy energies too. A very good and recommended read.

Ah, reading. Lately my reading time is on BART, always carry a book with me. 'Cept right now it's technical manuals about electronics. I've decided to try the test for the technical jobs at big-mega-telco and rather than take up my weekends with the class....studying myself. Pass or fail I look forward to reading other things. I'll put that on my list.
