Thanks guys for your suggestions. I think I'll take my jersey to an alteration shop I used last year (I had not even thought of this as an option). They did a great job on a pair of dress pants and were very affordable. I can't help but think she can replace the zipper for a lot less than I'd pay for a new winter jersey.
