What a great thread. It provoked smiles, "aw, what a guy," and laughter. Pretty nice.

Mr. Silver, what year is that? I used to have a white 450sl, think a 78. They are the coolest cars. but only the older ones. the newer ones don't look near as good.
We have a yellow 1975 220 d diesel. Hubby found it down the road a few years back and found the owner.offered him less than $1000 for it, brought it home on a flatbed, went through everything(it had a brand new engine-also a 4 speed stickshift) and now he drives it to work everyday and gets the best gas mileage of all the cars. It was a good find. The older ones are the best, they have personality. That red one is gorgeous

WOW! Sliver... you look great! After all you went through, you look healthy and happy... even if you aren't feeling 100%.

    Nice bike and tree!

PS Still wearing my helmet regularly, after reading about your awful accident, so I still have you to thank for that.

Silver - that is one hot bike! I hope you end up loving it more than the one that passed (if you don't already)...........

...........as far as the red zoomzoom goes, I've got plenty of room to babysit it should it ever become a bother
