I have a wool one from Woolrich that they don't make anymore, which is great on the bike.

This one is kinda like it: http://woolrich.com/CGI-BIN/LANSAWEB...948056+PRD+ENG Not bad for $39.

This one is even cheaper, a lighter weight boiled wool and no pockets. Not bad for $31. http://woolrich.com/CGI-BIN/LANSAWEB...948056+PRD+ENG

I have the SheBeest WindPro JACKET and I just LOVE it. Stretchy, with fleece inside and warm but not sweaty like a windbreaker can be. Sleek fit. Good pockets. So I second the vote for SB Woindpro vest based on that.
I also have an Ibex Switchback merino vest in Persimmon (traffic visible) and that is VERY warm and has 2 hand pockets but none in back.

For the record, this is the other wind vest I like for warmer days (50-60s).

I use the sheebeest wind pro vest for temps in the 40s over a long sleeve jersey, and for the 30s I layer a goretex shell over it. For 50s-60s I use the lighter wind vest. The wind pro is also available in yellow from some sources (but not TE ). Lisa, I WISH I bought the wind pro jacket. At the time I struggled which to get since I live in a wamer climate, but now I wish I had both they are such nice garments. I also like the vest for non-cycling layering too under a rain shell when it is cold outside.

I really like jackets with zip-off sleeves that convert to vests.

I have one similar to this (in yellow).

Hey thanks for the reminder. I have a jacket with zip off sleeves and it has a pocket!
