My parents gave me some cash. I'm saving to replace my unreliable car.

I got a ton of stuff, from both hubby's family (Christmas) and my parents (Hannukah). Heh!

    Highlights are:
7 Spinervals DVDs, including the triathlete pack! WOOOO I have a library to pick and choose from now!
    Djembe instructional DVD
    itunes/audible.com gift cards
Fresh oranges and grapefruits from Bell's Farm to Market in Texas (best. grapefruits. evar. & we get them every year but I am still psyched)
a few books and DVDs from my list, perfect!

I am very pleased. My husband's family works almost exclusively from internet wish lists for each other, so I usually end up with a lot of things I was hoping for...

Hey girls, there's enough for ALL three (4 if you count him)! Come on over! I was just thinking this morning that I need to get them out of sight!

KayTee, where are you? I've done a couple of rides with the RABA group. Hoping to do more next spring. There's a women's ride on Wed. evenings that I'd like to figure out how to do (time-wise). I work retail, so it's difficult - weekends are almost impossible!

I'm on the north side of the river, but east of Richmond. In season I often ride RABA's Tu Hanover and Th Black Creek rides, and some of their weekend rides if we're not cycling from home or in the James City area. Next month DH and I will temporarily resurrect the weekly Sunday p.m. ride for RABA from Dorey Park in eastern Henrico, at least until early April (see www.raba.org for directions). Where are you? PM me if you're interested in the Sunday ride - it'd be fun to hook up!

IFjane, thanks for the offer to take the heat! It's not fair being made to feel guilty about indulging in such a major food group!

I think maybe we've hijacked the thread! Sorry everyone.

KayTee, I'm in the West End of Richmond - about a mile from Short Pump Town Center

Is your Sunday ride a fast one?? Dso and I don't really ride for speed the way some of the RABA riders do... but might be up for doing a *social* ride. We ride the rolling hills around Hanover a lot of Sunday mornings. I work at 1 p.m., so they have to be kind of early - and not too long.
