I got a waterproof digital camera--nice compact size for taking along in a handlebar bag--a silver-and-gold charm for my charm bracelet, and a leather motorcycle jacket--a nice, eclectic assortment. It was a lovely Christmas day, with a two-hour bike ride, dinner with one group of friends, and games after dinner with another group.

We are pretty low-key around my house...

    • My stepmom knitted a hat for me...
    • My sister gave me a pair of socks...
    • My mom gave me oranges, some goat cheese, and some REALLY good chocolate...
    • My father-in-law gave me two bluebird houses (that he made)...
    • DH gave me six truffles and some dark chocolate "bark" with almonds, a can of shaving cream, and a tube of toothpaste (he found those in the bathroom - needed some 'filler' to complete my stocking)!

I got to be with my family - the best gift of all! BF gave me a new TREK saddle and tells me there is more to come once it arrives. Family gave me some gift cards so I could do some shopping, new fannel sheets for my new mattress, cycling gloves, books, etc. It was great to be with my parents, brothers and their families - I'm so blessed

Around here it's an end-of-the-year celebration, but nevertheless:

    A new helmet (nice white/silver)
    New cycling knickers
    Topeak Alien multi-tool

A custom painted red Raleigh mixte!
Another red mixte, Centurion Sport DLX, somehow to be gotten up to Kent from Sacramento!

Red is the colour of the season. But not for the knickers .

I got a gorgeous "Vintage Handmade Bicycles" book and a POUND of hand dipped chocolate covered cherries from my darling DH, and some lovely scented soaps and candles and very fancy olive face moisterizer from my younger daughter. We had apple pie and ice cream for Xmas dinner.
I had a WONDERFUL cozy quiet Xmas with my sweetheart. ...And to top it off we rode 30 miles Christmas Eve and 20 miles on Christmas Day!

I can't show off the new bike(s) yet, the Raleigh mixte hasn't been painted yet! And the other one is still in Sacramento. Photos will follow when I can obtain them!

"so what's wrong with red knickers?"

    I've seen that photo....

Thumbs up I guess I was a VERY good girl...

My big gift was a total shocker! It was a Nikon D50 digital SLR camera. I've been coveting it for years, but never thought I would actually get one!!
And then I got a bunch of bike goodies.
    PI sugar Knickers
    PI socks- my fave
PI gloves (or glubbs as I call them) IM training ruined my other ones. They are NASTY!
    2 new sports bras's
The never reach hydration system for this years IM. It looks silly, but I think it will work alot better than the aerobar mounted front bottles.
and a purty new giro purple helmet.

I also got a bunch of stuff from L'Occitane en provence. Shea butter.... My fave!
Oh and jammies too. I always ask for jammies and it confounds my husband? I just like basic jersey knit jammie pants and shorts... Easy for some, a nightmare for my husband! lol
Oh and one of my best gifts? A 25.00 gc for TE!!! WHOO HOO!!!!
Like I said, I was a VERY lucky girl this year!!

Sounds like everyone got some great gifts this year!

The reviews have been good... but take note: It does spill out and will get on your brakes. So, something sticky is not really good to carry in there.

Have fun with your new camera!
