I wish you lived closer. I would happily sell you one. I have mine, my mother's and my grandmother's.

I could really use the space.

Hummm... No selfconsciousness but I think I like the pants-look of the loose ones... And I've got lots of cycling/running apparel, this would be for everyday wear... hummmm......... This is hard.

Yes, there's always cedar chests for sale on ebay. And the good ones are all east of the rocky mountains and shipping is outrageously expensive. But you can try Craig's list...

From what you are saying I would think the Loose Tights might be the right choice- they look REALLY nice on my friend! Perfect for everyday wear.
She's pretty tiny and the Smalls fit her nicely. Judging from seeing hers, I would probably take Mediums myself and I am usually a size medium....if that's any help.

I agree that this would be a wise and practical purchase, esp. if you have a sizeable stash of woolens. I have my mother's cedar chest and it's the perfect storage spot for not only my woolly things but also some particularly heavy and precious cotton sweaters. Plus, it's just a lovely piece of furniture.

I just ordered this sweet merino wool bike beanie in mint:

I need something warm to wear during my early morning runs, and this should be perfect. :-)

Agree w/JuJu, et.al., a cedar chest is an excellent investment.

I like the bones & paws since I'm mommy to three golden retrievers. :-) Couldn't resist the mint color and the bike motif, even tho I had to pay full price. They also had a hat with a bike going endo on it.

    merry christmas,
this year for Christmas my parents got me a lot of goodies! I got the icebreaker exp ignition zip and two bodyfit 260 wool crew shirts from icebreaker too. They are super warm and comfy. They also got me a flashdrive so I can save my work- how practical of them this year! (also a sad face for returning to school ) My big brother also got me a nice wool coat. So I can look stylish and warm no matter what I am doing! My other brother got me a bike repair book and a gift certificate to REI (ahem so I can pay for them to service my bike when I am too frustrated.

    PANIC attack!!!

Ladies in the PNW! I need your help!!

I posted some info about an outdoors apparel store in Seattle about 2 months ago and for some reason I can't go back further than 100 posts in the forum archives right now.

Anyone has the info? I'm leaving for Seattle tomorrow morning at daybreak and I'd LOVE to stop by the store!!

I can't remember the name of it, but I think it's the 2nd hand and outlet-y store in Ballard down the street from the Kavu outlet.

    Anybody remember?

Here's the Kavu info, that'll at least get you in the neighborhood. You could call them and ask for the name of the 2nd run sports store. ("2nd Ascent" or something?)
