I just got an email from my wheelbuilder and my new wheels are on their way! They came in a few grams higher than he originally estimated, but they're still pretty light, especially for the money. I'm very excited!!!! I'll give you a full report once I have them on my bike.

    Happy Holidays to all!

I finally got my wheels last night. I haven't had a chance to use them yet, but they look great and weigh next to nothing. The builder sent me some pictures in an email, but I can't figure out how to copy and paste them into a post. They're certainly not flashy, but either is my bike. I'll let you know how they ride--if the weather in Indianapolis ever improves!

I'm planning to use Vittoria Rubino Pro tires with them and I'm getting a new Chorus cassette so that when the bike's on my trainer, I can just swamp out my old wheel.
