Well, I'm having a slow start this year - I just can't seem to get into the gym! It is snowing nice and hard outside right now for my commute home!
1. Plan my Second Annual McDowell Mountain Bike Fun Camp second weekend of February (I've already sent out invites).
2. Ride the Cindarella metric - which means drive or fly to SF Bay area, (take a little road trip to an old ride that I have done many many years in the past.)
3. Ride my mountain bike more often.
4. I increased my climbing ability last year; see if I can up it one more notch this year. Climb, climb and more climbing.
5. Increase the intensity of my women's developmental rides. Try to get more women - not just beginners, interested and showing up for rides.
6. Ride the Casa Grande metric (for spring warmup miles) if the two weddings in March don't coincide with the ride.
7. No other ambitions, big or little, yet. I did a 450 mile, 6 day ride last year. This year, maybe I'll do it on a motorcycle?
8. Maybe gear up for cyclocross in the fall. If we have any decent cyclocross racing in our state this coming year.
