This is Knott, too lazy to change from Trek's login to my own:
BikerZ, we are both SOOOO glad your wallet was found!! Two towns away at a yoga studio? Namaste! And only the money was taken, well, money being taken does s*ck, but it could've been ugly. What a relief!

And yes, parking took us a while...

Happy 2nd night of Chanukah, y'all!

I am a truly wealthy woman

I have had the best weekend of my life! It is sad to think soon my dear friends will be heading home. I shall be cherishing every moment we have together tomorrow. I do not have the words to adequately express just how important this visit is to me.

X-thank you for ignoring me and coming out to see me, rather than going to the ocean.

Kit-I am so glad you were willing to fly out on such short notice.

    Mush warning-

(((((((((X & Kit))))))))) I love you both, you have made my Christmas. I am a much better person for having both of you in my life.

At the dog park? Does Mae now go in at dog parks? Has she realized she's a dog? Or is she still practicing by looking in from outside? Good on her, one way or the other!

one last log-in from my computer before we head back over to Jen's for the goodbye. I'm already crying thinking about it. Thank you to Jen, her hubby and wonderful children for such a warm welcome. (you should meet her kids, they are fantastic!) I can't express in words what this trip has done for me. It was the best Christmas gift I've ever received.

Kit is finally adjusted to our time zone, I think, and now she has to return back to the PNW. It has been a blast to meet her, ride the local trail with her and just all around get to know her better. Very cool person in the extreme. Thanks A, it was the best time I've ever had. (in Ohio )

Time to get out of here and Kit is bugging me to get off the computer so she can post too. cya TD!!

have a wonderful day and be safe

good morning all you gals. Jennifer/Bmo3 I did not see any of your kids in the pictures.. were they avoiding the TE/TD girls? or were you protecting them?

I am back to work and only 1 coworker (out of 5 so far) still is without power. She came in wearing a hat and a big heavy sweater. She has a gas ambiance kind of fireplace thingy so her house isn't 30 degrees inside.

    it's COLD out.

    take care

    Mimi,
My kids love Kit and X. I do not like to post the boys' photos on the internet. os I try not to. I think X has a picture of Mr. Z making Christmas cookies. If it turned out she will most likely post it when she is home and rested.

I am happy you are once again with power and hope everyone has their power restored soon.

    Mush alert!!!

just getting a quick post in before we leave- X is in the shower and I'm (mostly) packed and ready to go...

When BMo3 and X came to me with this plan, all those anxieties that come with unexpected travel popped into my mind, but there were a couple of main things that really stilled those for me. The first and foremost was the knowledge that these two ladies, I would trust my life with. They're incredible women and y'know, I feel like my life (and recent stress) has been so much more handleable with friends like them.... The second was actually a horoscope (I can hear the shouts of "Hippy!" from the audience) that said, on the day all these plans came to fruition, that it was a very important day to be with my friends- that meeting with them could prove life-changing.

Rarely can one say a horoscope is so accurate. All of us needed this weekend, and whether it was the step back from everyday life, or being with people who 'get' us, or any other of the multitude of things that came with this vacation/visit/etc, it was life-changing. It was healing. Now I know what I need to do and how I need to go from the point where I left off in OR. I know I've got friends who are willing to be there, to support me emotionally, and get me drunk when I need it.

BMo3- thank you so much, with all my heart, for this trip. I only wish I had more time to spend with you and your family. Ladies' days out (or in.)

X- thank you for being an incredible friend. You point me in the right direction (even if you manage to get lost yourself...) and keep me on the right track. Thank you for everything.

I love you both... and now I have to stop typing b/c the mush is going to make me cry. On with the shades.
