The Quattro looks very sleek & stylish! I haven't seen them in person yet, though.

The thing I really like about the eggbeaters is the ease of clipping in, and especially, the ease of clipping out - the latter being very important while you're getting used to clipless pedals !

As I recounted in excruciating detail in this thread http://forums.teamestrogen.com/showt...=&threadid=947 I originally had a bit of a problem clipping into one Candy pedal (clipping out was fine, though), and it seemed to be the way that the Candy platform came into contact with the sole of that one shoe. I pretty much had the problem solved (shaved away a tiny bit of the sole of that shoe where it came into contact w. the platform), but then the problem went away when I switched to the eggbeaters, since there was no platform to interfere.

For me, clipping in and out of the eggbeaters is simple and pretty much mindless, which is the way I like it !
