We put up our tree on the weekend. Several fire nogs later, we thought it looked rather nice!
It's nice getting the house all decorated; gets us in the mood so it's not all shop shop shop.
We ordered a fresh turkey for the first time, too. I'm looking forward to not dealing with frozen and doing it wrong *again*

I actually bought a tree last night & I am currently under the delusion that I

Thank you ! I believe the heron (bird) Is made by a company called old world ornaments. And the cat I believe is a dept 56 ornament. It is a certain line of theirs. Or it is halmark but I don't think so. You see this line in all the gift shops. It is a lot of animals dressed up in strange costumes.

Aggie... that leaning tree is so cool! I have been known to buy the littlest, least perfect tree on the lot cause it needs a home too...
and I love the doggie stockings...

OK... here's my tree... I did the ribbon thing for the first time this year...There is a fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness".
