40 miles. in the fifties. I decided to do some climbing (about 2000 feet with 1/4 mile of 15% grade). The only problem was the wind on the descent (both keeping warm, as well as being blown all over the road). Was pleanstaly surprised at my avg speed

27 miles, about 50 degrees, calm wind, bright sunshine. Beautiful ride - wore a short-sleeved jersey, arm warmers, knee warmers, short finger gloves & helmet and was perfectly warm. The ride began with about a 1.5 mile climb so we warmed up pretty quickly. It's one of my favorite routes through backroads with lots of twists & turns and great downhills (unfortunately followed by uphills)!
