    Up until a few days ago, I have been running. I will go out tomorrow. I love running in the cold. It takes about a 1/2 mile to warm up, but I have finally learned how not to overdress.

    I don't swim, either. But I used to scuba and snorkel. I despise swimming pools. My great solution is a Farmer Jane and a tri mask (sold here on TE, like a diving mask but without the nose pocket) in the local lake. The same lake my sprint tri was in, in fact.

    I did pretty well in the swim portion, even though I'd only "trained" about 6 or 8 times in the lake. And I did my patented "I don't know how to swim" side-stroke/doggie paddle. Gotta love the wetsuit! Kept me floating and kept me warm.
