Lots of fast-healing wishes. The trainer is dull, dull, dull, but better than NOT riding at all.

"Keep plugging along. The finish line is getting closer with every step. When you see it, you won't remember that you are hurting, that anything has gone wrong, or just how slow or fast you are.
You will just know that you are going to finish and that was what you set out to do."

I am a nobody; nobody is perfect, and therefore I am perfect.

Having broken a wrist by falling off the jungle gym at the local playground (when I was 38 yrs old), I can just imagine the fun you're having trying to figure out how to do the simplest things. As I recall, putting on a bra was my biggest challenge. Kudos to your DH for being so solicitous, and to you for being so tough in dealing with it!
"How about if we all just try to follow these very simple rules of the road? Drive like the person ahead on the bike is your son/daughter. Ride like the cars are ambulances carrying your loved ones to the emergency room. This should cover everything, unless you are a complete sociopath."

Random babblings and some stuff to look at.
sorry to hear about your broken wrist. although it can be boring riding a trainer, it beats not riding at all. Put yourself together a good disc of music to help stave the boredom away. Hope you heal quickly.
Don't think of it as getting hot flashes. Think of it as your inner child playing with matches
