Lovely ride! I'm digging those Pittsburg colors (black & yellow/gold). You could name her Terry (Bradshaw) or Roberto/a (Clemente). Although I think Bad JuJu is on to something w/Bumblebee because when I first saw the photo, I thought "BEE BIKE." "Sting" could be a good alternative.

She's beautiful! My DP just bought me aero bars and a tri seatpost for my Kestrel Talon so I can shift from road to TT position. It's fabulous, but I can dream of a setup like yours!

On the bee theme, how about "Buzz." ? Or maybe Buzz for the not-taking-itself-seriously days and Sting for when it's time to kick a$$?

Beautiful bike! And it fits well, right? It looks like it does - I was confident that it was your size! The first couple of times in aero position is quite unnerving -and having to jump back to the bullhorns to hit the brakes, etc. Over time it'll all be second nature, just keep practicing.

I took Speedy (my Cervelo) out on a long ride yesterday. It was his first since this summer b/c I've been riding Ruby a lot lately (my road bike) - and it took a few minutes to not swerve and weave while getting used to the aero position again, and I've been riding tri bikes for a few years now! The first few times you ride in the aero position on longer rides, you'll probably get a sore neck, maybe sore back. But once your body gets used to it, they'll be no more soreness.

Oh, and I like the name "Sting" that was suggested earlier

Congrats on the new bike and have fun!!

or "The Bus" as long as we're going all football.
That could be fun as in:
"what bike are you bringing to the ride?"
"oh, I'll just bring 'the Bus'"

I like Sting, personally. And you're right; the red bar tape had to go.

    Its beautiful, congratulations!!!

I was just out in Dallas for Thanksgiving and could not believe the warm weather, I was bummed I didn't have a bike to ride. At least I got to run without feeling like my lungs were burning from cold. It has been frigid here lately. Enjoy your sweet ride and beautiful riding weather!

That really is a beautiful bike, K. And you look fantastic on it! Please give us ongoing updates on your experience... I'm seriously thinking about getting a Quintana Roo next year and I'd love to hear how one gets used to riding aero like that.
