I have women's boxer-briefs from 4 different brands: Jockey For Her, New Balance, Ibex, and UnderArmor.

Here's why I love my boxer-briefs for everyday wear.
    1. They don't ride up my butt
    2. No panty-lines
    3. The legs stay put without bunching. (regular boxers and boy-cuts bunch on me)
    4. My dressier pants hang nicely over the smooth UnderArmor.
    5. Very modest under regular shorts. (no peekaboo shorts legs)
    6. Wool boxer-briefs are cozy warm but not overheating.
    7. Jiggly-thighs are well controlled by the more compressive shorts (UA and New Balance).
    8. Just plain comfy.

I have been quietly coveting UA briefs. Hopefully someone in this house has heard me go on and on about them.

Question-how true to size do they run? Example I where a size small in their bottom, but could probably wear an XS in tights. Should I go XS in the UA briefs or stick with Small?

madscot, everytime I see your avator I crack up. Just the picture of you running out to get boxers and cleverly transporting them in the box Does it have a roof rack?

Knot, ahem, 7 is not true. You ::cough cough :: do not have jiggly anything.

8 though is true, they are just plain comfy.

You know I never thought about putting a roof rack on top of me. I think people would laugh at me...

however, the box is ridiculously large. I can eat a perons and they will fit and become a four legged monster- but still no arms. (wish I had pictures of that.) We couldn't find our other small housemate to become the ultimate amalgamation of legs.

I think i can do all of my Christmas shoplifting in it this year- way better than years past exoskeletons.

    So, here's my question:
If you wear UA or Ibex boxers as underwear, do you throw them in the washer after every wearing?? Seems to me they wouldn't last long with that kind of treatment. Do you wear pantiliners with them so you can wear them for several days before washing?

I wash them after every wearing.

My 6 year old Jockey For Her boxer briefs are still going strong. They go through the dryer, too. (the rest hang to dry)
My 2 year old UnderArmors are pretty much like new, except where the pen I carry in my pocket at work has roughed up a patch on the left thighs.
My 2 year old New Balance "brushed" wicking fabric are covered in little pills, but are still doing fine. They accidentally went through the dryer a couple times.
My 1 year old Ibex are like new, and I wear them a *lot* and wash after every wearing.

BMo3 - the only UA I have are the boxers/compression shorts. Their sizing seems to be pretty accurate.

Trek dear - if you say so... (see, those UA really work!)

Are you wearing the UA 'underwear' boyshort or some of their shorter compression workout shorts/baselayers as underwear? The boyshort legs rides up on me (horseback rider inner thighs) and is too high of a rise for a lot of my pants.

I also think that fabrics like that get smellier than natural fibers. Same with Nike Dri-Fit. (Talking about wearing them for workouts.. maybe they wouldn't be so bad in low-sweat situations with dress pants, but then I am from the deep south where there is no such thing ).

I wear the UA long compression shorts. 4 inch inseam, I think.
    This looks like them: http://www.underarmour.com/ProductDe...&pf_id=1001126

Haven't had a smelly problem with them yet, but I've only had them for a couple years (2 pair). I've worn them for workouts and in a triathlon and in everyday situations. The UA and my Ibex boxers are my favorites.
