Nice article, thanks for posting it. They don't discuss the "thwarted-cyclist-stuck-in-car-wishing-she-had-just-ridden-today" phenomenon, though.

Right! That's me today ... and prbly tomorrow too
(Trying to accept this... especially since as it turned out I COULD HAVE RIDDEN TODAY... it never really froze... but it's supposed to in a few hours...)
The article did note just how few cyclists there are - yea, basically, if you don't like it you're not going to do it. Everybody has to *get* to work, but most people don't *have* to ride their bikes.
