My bike has been out on it's own!

After Saturday my bike computer showed 22 km.
On Sunday we biked down to the local ice-skating rink, all of 1 km away.

This morning the computer showed 60 km.
Even better, max speed showed 99,9 km/h!

And on my way to work today a horrible grinding sound tipped me off to the fact that one of the bolts holding the pannier rack to the wheel had disappeared, so I had to do a McGyver repair with a key ring

My bike went out for a spin on its own last night, and it must have been quite a ride

(or maybe that's what I get for buying a cheapo computer from Biltema)

Oh, I hope you don't get that phone call next week...

I had a cheapo computer that always claimed I'd hit a max speed of 99 mph whenever I rode in the rain. Rain makes you faster, of course.

I hope your bike enjoyed it's solo romp.

Computer is wired, but it did get soaked on Saturday. I sure wasn't the one going fast, with soft studded tires on waterlogged gravel... The manual for the cheapo computer did say not to use it in the rain, which I blithely ignored.

Gee, I hope so too, it sure deserved it. I'm just grateful bike didn't bust any lights out there.

Wonder how many trikes come out of a one-night....(bike)...stand...?

I dunno... if you cross a road bike with a mountain bike... is that how you make a hybrid?
