you WILL get snow, am I correct? this snow that we are having is rare,
believe me. you will be happily nested in several feet of snow soon enough
and all we will have is our wet feet.

BM3 only thing that can be done really right now is to put her on rymadil. its been so long since my vet in phoenix saw her and she hasn't been to one up here. i'm just trying to keep an eye on her. i am staying off my feet. i found a new favorite thing though. from having that owie on my right foot i took the band-aid off so it would heal faster, but when it got dried out it hurt really bad. so last night i put some bag balm on it and it almost completely healed over night. looks so much better. at least now hopefully i don't have to worry about an open wound going down to PI. i have the bag balm for the dogs and their paws, but it works udderly good on people too!

oh and where are we going to move to? i'm thinking colorado sounds nice. does that work for you?

Bag Balm is wonderful. I am glad to hear your wound is healing.

I do not think so. The mountain towns are too costly and Denver has sprawled to unbelievable proportions. Nice to visit, but I have been there and the surrounding communities enough to not want to live there. It is not for me. If a job was not an issue: Wyoming, Montana, Maine, UP Michigan, Oregon, or Washington State.

What Wisconsin is not listed?? Surely, this must be a type-o! hehe.

I'm missing the snow too BMo3. KG, I love the pix - the guy on the bike is my new computer background.

CWR - is that a steroid? My doggies don't do well on steriods. And she's only 3 months old? That's very sad. I hope she gets better. My oldest dog was getting up pretty stiffly this weekend. He's 10 so I suppose it's not uncommon. I'm bringing both dogs to the vet so they can both get checked out (and cuz their rabies shots expired in June - whoops!).

Oh, I found the best deal this weekend - all 4 flavors of sport jelly beans for $.50! I stocked up And I may go back

dar she's three years old now. i think its more of an anti-inflamatory drug more than anything for arthritis in animals.

That didn't help me after my bike crashes Glad it works for Chloe!

I started a little "journal" for my son this weekend. Just to jot down notes and sayings, things like that. He drank his first pop this weekend in the form of a kiddie cocktail - I was so proud! He doesn't like the fizziness of it and he even called it soda pop - go figure. He hasn't learned yet that up here in "da pickers" it's pop and bubbler. Guess he's already way cooler than his mom

I had a great walk in the woods with my dogs yesterday. We scared up a big deer, Xena caught a mouse (I made her let it go), they jumped in the Wisconsin River (they are NOT water dogs) and when we got home there was a mamma deer and two babies in the backyard (no spots). It was a very cool animal adventure.

My section of the state, sadly, does not see much snow. I would go into shock if we had a snowfall that could be measured in feet. We get rain, those around us get snow.

no kidding! you sound like you live in Seattle.

I thought Ohio tucked itself in every winter and didn't come out until spring.
