If I was riding in that, I'd be on the sidewalk too!

I'm not provoking anyone. And no-one is giving the hairy eyeball.

    I'm going to bed now.

Well there's another 8-10 inches on top of the snow in that shot this morning. And it's -11 celcius. With a 30-40 kmh wind. Brrrrr.....

Haven't heard from my mom yet how things are up in Abbotsford. I heard on the news they got another foot or so. We didn't get any more snow down here.

SKnot is very bummed, because school is not cancelled.

Wow, that was a lot of reading to catch up on. Dang peoplepc had me down all weekend - I spent an hour and a half with those people trying to figure it out. I was told a senior technician would call me and - big surprise - he didn't. So no 'puter at home.

CWR - hope your feet are feeling better. Can you grab you little toe and pull out and crack it into place? That's what I do with my big toe and for the quick pain it provides great relief.

Kit - well said on the relationship front. Glad to hear you appreciate what you have.

Was it X or Cycl that asked me why I thought Xena had a bladder infection? She got them a lot as a pup. She's 8 now and has been having accident's. This weekend she had several, and when we walked she's squatting to piddle every minute or so. I have a vet appointment this afternoon. Wish me luck trying to get a urine sample I gave her a cranberry pill two days in a row and she seems to feel better.

I SO wanted to ride bike this weekend but decided to be a good girl and finish my yardwork, winterize my lawnmower and clean out the garage while it was still 40. I now regret my decision to not ride outside - it's raining now and the highs at weekend will be in the 20-30's. Not good....

Off to a meeting, I'll chat with ya later. Gators (that was for you CC!)

    Whoa! That's some snow!

Mimi- we have a bit more than you, maybe 4 inches? The grass is buried and the pavement is covered with snow and slush. I've been hearing cars spinning their tires all morning.

X really you would give me a piggy back ride!? weeeeeeee! sounds fun. can you put me on your feet and fly me around like an airplane too?

Dar no pulling on the toe doesn't help. there is so much calcium built up down there that nothing is helping. good luck with the vet today. my baby girl's hip dysplasia is bothering her, i was told it was only going to get worse since she was 3 months old. saturday night she barely wanted to put weight on it. seems to be doing better this morning. still a bit stiff though.

KG the snow! i miss it now. it rained and got warmer and now we don't even have a small snowbank left its so sad. your pictures look so peaceful!

happy monday everyone! 3 days of work for me and then vacation. woo hoo!

    X-you left already?

KG-What are you trying to do to me? It is in the freaking 60s here! I want and need snow!
The photos of the snow are lovely. I just close my eyes and pretend I am out running in it. I love the smell of snow.

Knot-sorry Sknot did not get the hoped for snow day.

CWR-Sorry to hear your baby girl is not doing so well. Is there anything the vet can do for her. You stay off those feet as much as possible, okay? I worry.

    Mimi,
the only new thing aside from the cold is that you were wearing two pairs of gloves, right? It must be that the double gloves were somehow too tight or pinching nerves somewhere. A tight wrist cuff, perhaps?

you WILL get snow, am I correct? this snow that we are having is rare,
believe me. you will be happily nested in several feet of snow soon enough
and all we will have is our wet feet.

BM3 only thing that can be done really right now is to put her on rymadil. its been so long since my vet in phoenix saw her and she hasn't been to one up here. i'm just trying to keep an eye on her. i am staying off my feet. i found a new favorite thing though. from having that owie on my right foot i took the band-aid off so it would heal faster, but when it got dried out it hurt really bad. so last night i put some bag balm on it and it almost completely healed over night. looks so much better. at least now hopefully i don't have to worry about an open wound going down to PI. i have the bag balm for the dogs and their paws, but it works udderly good on people too!

oh and where are we going to move to? i'm thinking colorado sounds nice. does that work for you?
