Ok, now I see what you mean. Unless the jersey is REALLY long, I shouldn't run into too much of a hip problem. The main width of my hips is far below my belly button which itself is low on my already long torso. My waist is narrow, but until you get to my hips, I'm very much a triangle. Some size charts I've looked at for men I'd have to size up a little to get the right length (some have height correlations).
But then I looked at others like on the Specialized website (I was ordering other stuff), and even the XS Euro cut is really really really tall (they give you length of jersey in front and back in inches from shoulder seam). And kind of large everywhere.
I haven't made it to the Patagonia store yet, but I'm so far happy with my UA baselayers. Now I need actual jerseys (LS or SS) to wear over them, because I need pockets. The Voler jersey I just ordered for my team won't arrive till maybe mid Jan. So I can't wear it. Plus I need something for practicing to save that for races. I hope it fits. One in my LBS did...a little wide in the body but enough room for a baselayer which I'll definitely wear around here.
Thanks Robyn for your opinion on Craft. Stinky shirts are not good.
