Sorry for the slow response Joy.

I do not have a one piece suit of any kind. I tried one, but I too had the cameltoe issue. Between the padding on the sides of the seams... and the suit pulling upwards... I had a SUPER CAMELTOE! It was obscene. I should have taken a picture though, it was really funny looking.

I have a rather long torso and it has always been hard for me to fit into one pieces accurately... so it's no surprise I couldn't find a one piece tri suit to fit me.

I love my shorts and tri top. It's easy to use the restroom in... and I can always change up the tri top for a different race look. Although, I just have one race outfit currently.

Did you find something that worked for you?

Oh, man, that cameltoe thing. What a nightmare.

I have a Sugoi trisuit, which I wear when I do a tri with an indoor swim (early in the season), when you can't wear a wet suit. I wear it with a sports bra under, and then pull on other layers for the ride, take off some layers for the run. No cameltoe. Here are pictures of me at the Leaning Tower Tri in May. You can barely make out the suit in the first one (taken on a cell phone!). In the second one, I have a shirt over the tri suit. It's really very comfortable. You can see the padding in the crotch, but no cameltoe. I don't wear it for other tris mainly because I don't want to show my belly fat.

    Thanks gals,

I ordered the Craft suit in a number of sizes and hope one fits. I was told that this brand is slightly longer on the torso so I'll let you know if it works:

I have my first race on December 10. I hope I find a suit/kit that I can train in before the date. Eeesh... going out in public in a skinsuit makes me more nervous than the race itself.

Joy, I absolutely understand your discomfort. The trisuit I wear is so comfortable that I forget (mostly) to be embarrassed when I'm wearing it. I hope you enjoy yours, too! Lise

I wore a skort in my tri. No cameltoe!

    http://www.teamestrogen.com/products.asp?pID=16828

Used UnderArmor compression shorts and a CW-X bra top as my base layer. Swam in that (under my wetsuit). Threw on the skort and my team tank-top over the UA and CW-X, and wore all that through the bike and the run.

I was very comfortable and will do the same thing next year. I did see a couple other skort wearers, and one woman in a grass hula skirt during the run!

Yep. Tri shorts are tri shorts... because you can wear them from the swim to the bike to the run.

Okay, I got the Craft suit and it seems to fit, long torso and all. Tri suits are NOT flattering. I'm feeling VERY self conscious in it but I know I have to get over it.

I think it looks very nice on you! I cannot wait to be ready to be able to buy tri gear. Seriously, you look very athletic, nothing whatsoever to worry about! Now go kick butt!

Wow ! Blue Tree, I wish I could look like that in a tri-suit!

I have thighs and a butt like a runningback - not too attractive in that kind of thing; and then on top of that I've got the 40 year old belly everyone is talking about on another thread!
