    (IN NO PARTICULAR ORDER)

    My DH, who is my best friend;
    My family and my in-laws (and especially for my Grammy);
    My animals: Baxter Black, Ranya, Athena, Edgar, Zaboo, Frank and Barak;
    My close-knit town and community;
    My bike, and the freedom to ride it;
    My house and barn... and the feeling of responsibility being a "custodian" of a home that is over 230 years old;
    My ability to weave and be an artist in my own small way;
    The loving memories I have of friends and family who have died;
    The luxury of hot running water, of food when I want it, and the freedom to work at a job I enjoy;

    I'm thankful that, as I continue pondering, I am finding more and more for which I am thankful.

    Happy Thanksgiving to all of you!

    Awwww... such great things to be thankful for. Thanks for sharing, ladies!
    I second what was mentioned above, and I also want to add that I'm thankful for the ability of my body to move freely (whether it be swimming, running or biking). So many can't move easily and freely and I'm glad my body lets me be as mobile as I wanna be!

    I'm thankful for:

    ...My husband, who works hard to make my life of leisure possible, and who never complains about what I spend money on or why, even when it's a brand new '07 Honda Element.
    ...My three sons.
    ...My daughter-in-law married to my eldest, my daughter-of-my-heart who loves my middle son, and that little girl somewhere that I hope loves baseball, cycling and Star Wars as much as my youngest son/her future husband.
    ...My grandson born 10 weeks early and who is not really supposed to be here
    ...That his daddy returned from Iraq safe-and-sound and may never have to go back
    ...My Daddy who cracks me up
    ...My Mom, even though she drives me to distraction
    ...My 110-year-old house and all its quirks
    ...the opportunity to count my blessings like this

    I am thankful for my hubby; who gave me the strength to accept who I am and who makes me a better person just by being in my life.

    I am thankful for my health and for everyday that I wake to a new sunrise.

    I am thankful to have lived the life I have lived thus far; the good and the bad; because it made me who I am today.

    I am thankful for my family and for their perseverance thru the hard times; and I pray for their healing.

    I am thankful for my "sanity"..........

    Not necessarily in this random alphabetical order....

    My health, sure I've got some aches and pains but any day above ground...good! My family, we're a pretty cool group and the fact we love one another and get along...fantastic. My girl, you know who you are. My dog, she really tries to be the best she can be and she's come so far. I thank her for agreeing to be "my dog". My friends both IRL and cyber and the ones I've met here that I may never meet. This, the best dang place in Cyberspace. Long live TE TD My small, comfy, sturdy roof over my head...someday it'll look...acceptable. My bikes but for that I have to thank Chris and Tim my mechanics, I could not do this without you guys. All the people who voted, don't care how you voted ~ just that you did
