    whew! so much stuff!
Glad most everyone is doing good.
memo to self: do not sign for bicycle rides with more rides that your hometown had when you graduated from high school.
I made it 109 miles without falling off my bike! Yeah! Aside from my Jacket that kept on falling out of my jersey (it was a leftover from when I weighed 300+), and having to for the road to clear up enough to pass. Not to mention the 500+ mile one-way drive. I'm probably going to bump an El Tour thread so the non-TD ladies can blab. And this was good practice , since I'm supposed to visit my mom in a couple of weeks , and she only has dial-up. (this means you all will have a Photo posting contest, then. right? )

KIIIIT!!! You are so CUUUUUUUTE!!!! (both of you, that is the collective "you")

What cute lil' baby d*kes! <said in smarmy voice, cuz I'm older than you and decided I could!>

Dang, girl, you guys are sweet in that pic Trek posted!

I gotta figure out the timer on my camera so I can get one of us in December. Or maybe Spazzdog could take it.

I am FINALLY caught up and I got to see how cute Kit really is. I always suspected she was cute. Now I know for sure.
I want to know where all you guys got those nice pictures you are pretending are you and your SO's!!
I think i'm going to do this a different way for you all. I am going to show my new haircut and one of my cousins (from my recent trip to Italy). This one's name is Cicciu figlio di Saverio
to everyone that knows him. He's one of a MILLION Francesco Torchia's in their town, so to differentiate from the others he has this nickname.
when he talks I can hardly understand him because he speaks dialect.. and likes to quote old sayings.

Newsflash, I am going to meet Eden after dinner!

Nice "'do. I love Italian. I think if I was going to learn another language that would be it. Wish I could afford to go to Italy when we're in France next summer...

I think that pic of Kit proves to Margo that she really is 22(ish?). If she's not, then she's clearly younger, not older.

I'm so jealous of all of you who get to go riding with fellow TE'ers. Wish some lived way up here. Well actually, I could go ride with LBTC in Vernon but she mainly MTbikes and I have a long way to go to improve my tech skills.

    .
This just proves she *looks* 22(ish) with the emphasis on the "ish"
She is not just coincidentally using the handle Kitsune the trickster fox .
It's gonna take more than this to convince me

She is actually very like me except I have hazel eyes (like Capt James T Kirk in Star Trek TOS)

Wow! Mimi! Check out that family resemblance! Very cool!

I've been thwarted in my alcoholic endevours. I was gonna have peppermint schnapps in hot cocoa and brownies for a friend who is coming over. (we've made a little tradition of getting together to watch "The Amazing Race" lately. And we gossip about the ridiculous soap opera that is my life.)

Well, I went to the liquor store to get the schnapps, and they are closed on Sundays! Lets you know how often I buy hard booze, eh? So I went to the grocery store and bought a Barefoot Merlot. Not to put in the cocoa, but should go well with the brownies. (I'm testing it right now to be sure. )

BTW, for you non-Washingtonians, liquor is only sold in state-run liquor stores here.

I'm drinking a really different white wine that I picked up a little winery when we were away on another of our "honeymoons" a few weeks ago. It's called Suntuoso. Really different and quite yummy.

We can only buy liquor in liquor stores too, also closed today. We have beer and wine stores now, relatively new concept here, but I don't know if they're open on Sundays or not. I'm so used to not being able to buy on Sunday I always make sure we're stocked up. In BC, it's easier to buy pot than booze.

Funny. Here in OR sometimes it's easier to buy pot than booze (if ya know the right people!)
I remember working in a gas station w/ booze on the counter (vodkas, sex on the beach, pucker, etc) and truckers would come in and be surprised that we'd sell beer etc on the sabbath.
Um. yeah. Man, beer on Sunday?! Sunday's not the sabbath, it's GAME DAY! You can't watch a Packer game without BEER!!! GEEZ!!!

Now if only I could get DGF into hunting, fishing, and hip waders, I think I'd almost be set for life! Go figure! It's the bullheaded WI girl in me, I swear!

X- I left something just for you I hope you like it.

Knot- I *like* your rediculous soap opera life. I mean god, you worked hard enough for it...

...my head... is splitting... in half. CWR- grab some snow and some duct tape. thissus going to be a loooong night.

    Thank y'all kindly.

The real test comes when I take her 'home' to visit my parents and go for a hunting trip. My parents only really accept people who can go hunting etc. Ex could... we'll see if she can. Someday, mebbe, I can bring home someone who can hunt w/ the best of 'em... 'til then? I'll have to sloooowly introduce her to "cute furry creatures as food". It's a long process.

    Oh, and don't mind me.

yessss I'm 'round 20--something. We won't go into particulars (thankyou!)

Lisa SH- I like that pic, it shows off (just a little) my biceps (without trying)... someday I'll post a pic of my body-builderish physique, I swear.

so not to change the subject (but this IS TD) The last I heard was that Nanci was getting a snake and the snakeseller turned out to be an unsavory character that sold sick wild snakes instead of fat happy domestic snakes..
The next thing I know (and i DID go back and read every post!) she's got a new snake! where did that one come from??

and great news about my sister . Not only is she not talking to me, but my mother got involved too; and she lacks my restraint.... and they had a shriekng hissing scratching fight (via email and phone) and now they're not speaking either. and the very ironic part about it? My sister was mad because my dh didn't apologize... well, he actually did. (and there is an email to prove it, thanks to the wonders of computers)

Snap- yes I do have Wine Enthusiast! Good luck trying to ever live without it now! I always check stuff out now at restaurants and at the store. And I log every bottle I ever drink- I have them rated Love, Like A Lot, Buy Again, Don't Buy Again, and BF Likes. I eventually get the tasting notes in there, too. My notes.

I am thinking of just plain Z, is that stupid?

We had a wonderful photo session outside today. He is SO fun. He just burrows his pointy little nose into either my hand or the ground and stays there.

I think I got Dill in 1997, the year before I moved to Florida, the last year I was happily married. Mother's Day present. So that makes him coming up nine, but it sure seems like a lifetime.

I saw two Chloes at Petsmart today. They were very well-behaved.
