well i dampened the chamois a tiny bit and let it dry, and it is fine now. whew!!! well...not leaving those in the garage anymore!

Can't be that bad if they wash your clothes... just as long as they stay away from your bike clothes. Perhaps you could talk her/him into just washing dishes and taking out the trash instead?

I always dry my cycling shorts in the dryer and have no problems at all. We have PI's, LG's, Performance Bike brand, to name a few.....
