Last time I was browsing on e-Bay I saw the paper wrapper from a Campagnolo cogset- from the 70's- ( It was sort of a sleeve that the cog set would have been shipped in) It was extremely cool- If you like retro looking stuff

I thought it was suitable for framing- almost bid on it for a friend I mind that belongs to the church of Campy- I'm just a shimano girl!

I had to resurect this thread as I'm doing the same thing! We moved into another house a couple months ago and have decided to decorate the guest bath with a bicycle theme. I've already painted the walls bright yellow and we have lots of bicycle stuff to hang on the wall and we just got the toilet paper holder. But still searching for a shower curtain. Has anyone seen anything lately? My mom does sew so I may get some fabric. I think a big wheel shower curtain would look neat.

Here are some very cool bicycle-themed fabrics:

Just type in Bicycle in the Search function:

I may have to make some cycling curtains for my den this winter. It has slowly accumulated a bike theme on it's own. The Phinney jersey, Astana poster, bike sculpture, miniature road bike, a nifty tray with a bike pic on it I found, some photos.

I want to find some chain rings or a cassette and make a clock.

Two years in the house (almost) and I am finally getting to this project. I had a lot of other things I put first but now I am ready to roll.

Tator- Where did you manage to find the TP holder. I have looked everywhere!

My mom and I are going to sew the shower curtain. I have never seen one anywhere but you can find some fabric. Either by Google or checking a local quiliting shop.

Then there is a local embroidary place that can do towels with bikes. I am going to use the metal rings with the little roller balls to give it a slightly industrial/mechanical look.

I need to get some small prints and pick paint. I think my husband is not liking the yellow, maybe blue since we have blue bikes.

I was going to decorate our second bathroom with bicycling stuff. But, it really is my hobby vs. the hubby's too. SO, I tweaked the idea. It's more about adventures that my hubby and I have had. There are a few of my cycling things, patches from rides, photos from the Tour de Kota, a photo collage of my hubby and I on the MS150, pictures from our honeymoon on Kauai. Also a bicycle plant holder.

I am trying to think of a cool shower curtain. Right now we just have a clear one. The bathroom is small, so I don't want anything to over power. I will likely sew one up sometime.

It's fun to read everyone's ideas. I'd love to see finished projects for future ideas, perhaps!!

Tulip- An Aggie study and one Aggie thing in my kitchen is plenty. I love A&M but I don't want to look like a book store. My husband's friend's house is the same way, everywhere a little knick knack, photo, etc.... We painted our study half maroon and I am wondering how hard it will be to paint over down the road if we move.

We may be switching gears on the shower curtain fabric. I found one that is blue with white bikes. I little more subtle, matches the existing towels and leaves more paint options. Not sure yet as DH hasn't seen it. I am also still on my maddening quest for the Park TP Holder. I posted a wanted ad on Craigslist (hoping) and bid on one on Ebay. I don't have luck with Ebay so I am doubtful.

I can't see the photos since I don't want to register but the description sounds like overkill. A lot of neat ideas but way too much, unless the room is really big.

I registered just so I could see the pics. Awesome bathroom! Some great ideas I'd like to use when we buy a house. Gonna have to start stockpiling bike parts now!

I got my TP holder in the mail- happy dance!! I am so glad that worked out since the one on E-bay went for $56. This one I found on craigslist, still in orginal box for $30 with shipping.

Now I am off to order the fabric and hopefully this weekend drag DH to pick paint.

That is the one. I liked the Tour De France ones but I want it to be less race centric and more just bikes. I want subtle, this bathroom is tiny and I have several ideas so I don't want to over kill with a really bold curtain.
