    Smile Night Riders!!!

We did our first night ride of the season last night. We hit the trails at 4:45 and rode for about 2 1/2 hours. It was really fun. It was a bit warm, but so much fun.
We have a perfect place to ride, it is not technical, just fast and rolly, so you don't have to worry about any screaming technical downhills in the dark.

    Fun stuff.....

I have two lights, both Nite Rider Trail Rats, one for my helemt, one for the handle bars.

    They worked great.

I love night riding. I don't do it nearly as much as I should! Riding your same "normal" trails feels completely different at night. You see things that you never see in the light.

And some of those tough climbs actually seem easier in the dark. I think it's because you can't see the top, so you just keep riding until you hit the crest!
