Hey Silver (and others) -
I remember how totally alone I felt after my bike wreck last summer. I live on a ridge in the forest. I've ridden by myself for 17 years. I didn't have anyone to talk to who understood the way I felt about my injuries, my fears, and my pain. Several of the doctors I saw were unkind to me and it made things worse than they already were. This forum gives us the opportunity to communicate and network. You don't have to be alone because the members of this site represent a wide cross section of backgrounds and experiences.
I'm wearing the necklace you made for me. I've gotten quite a few complements. It's so cool. It has a little bikie charm. Of course, the bikie is wearing a helmet!!
I'm glad I've been able to support you as you heal from your crash. You're going to be alright.
Everyone should try to hook up with a TE member if possible.
I'm glad I did.
Barb
