Tea is the leaves of a bush.
Coffee is a part of a fruit.
Honey is brilliant for the mouth and throat.
The heat is what kills the "germs".
You can also try my Grandmothers remedy which was/is a gargle of 1 tsp each of salt and Baking soda (bi-carb) in a cup or water (warm plus),.

Or my Grandma's remedy....... a warm glass of lemonade with a shot of whiskey! (She was Irish, if that means anything.)

Normally I love my coffee every day. I also like an occasional cup of tea.

But when I'm sick, I can't even think about drinking coffee, almost makes me want to hurl. And I get cravings for tea bigtime. When I'm sick I will drink 2 or 3 mugs of tea at a time and it always makes me feel so GOOD. Interesting....what is it about tea indeed?

I've never liked coffee and drink tea regularly. When I am sick, though, I actually prefer hot water straight. Gotta be bottled, though, that tap stuff tastes yucky!

And, oddly enough, drinking tea with honey will always make my throat MORE sore - feels like little razor blades, crazy, huh?

oh, well, I've been told I'm "wired funny"

Drink your tea and feel good!
