A few newbies who are enjoying the SS swap for the first time are confused about "bike gadgets". Since there was a very open theme this month I thought we could get some ideas together to help the shoppers?
What are some great bike gadgets? I am stumped at:
- Tire levers
- Mini tool kit for the road (ours is a small holder with patches, tire levers, chain tool)

Bento box! That way your camera is always handy! (The image is of the large one. The small one is cheaper and perfectly camera or cell phone sized.)
a bike bell?

How 'bout a cellphone holder? I love mine.....
Or some little blinkie lights?

streamers!!! and horns.....and tire-flys....and pretty stem/headset caps....water bottles?....and valve stem caps (decorative)....and those blinkie lights that go into your bar-ends......and did I mention streamers?
I was thinking water bottles, chain cleaners, cassette cleaner brushes and whatnots, along with these others.
I was also pondering "toys" like Joe Benders: http://www.rei.com/online/store/Prod...cat=REI_SEARCH

There is a fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness".
I have not been on my bike in so long, I spaced out the part about bike accessories. Thanks for the reminder. Now, what would my SS want/need?

My Nov SS included a Park Tool "mini tool" with my package and I think that's a GREAT bike gadget!
A tiny tire gauge would also be good.
