Where should I post a bike for sale?

Anyone have ideas for where on the internet I should post a bike for sale? It is just a townie women's bike (2001 Marin Larkspur) in excellent condition. I really don't want to get into shipping so if any has ideas for bike classified posting in the counties including and surrounding Yolo, I'd appreciate it!

I need to reach that local audience.

    Thanks.

Craigslist! That's the first place everyone in Northern California looks for local bikes for sale. There is one for Sacramento but the original San Francisco Craigslist gets a lot more traffic.

I'd list in both places. I just bought a used kayak off the SF version, and the seller only lived about half a mile from me in Sac.

Thanks, I've been cruising that site once in a while but wasn't sure how much traffic it really gets. I'm going to give it a whirl.

If you have pics of it on your own site you can post the info with the link on BikeForums.com in the Buy-Sell-Trade forum.

Is this site up and running? I just get generic ISP, hosting, something or other stuff.

Thanks, everyone for both ideas. craigslist worked! I sold my bike last night to the first caller.

Now I just have to sell a slightly used trainer.

    1 down, 1 to go.
