One of my favorite cold weather layers is actually an underlayer. It's essentially a sleeveless long underwear top - the REI Midweight MTS Tank Top. Here's the link.

    I FINALLY bought a Vest

I will let everyone know how it works and of course fits. Sizing is always a gamble for me when it comes to tops.

Anyway, we are in a heat wave right now, but I found this on sale, last year's model.

    Opinions anyone?

I bet you'll love it. I've never been disappointed with any Sporthill item (OK, well, maybe their winter training pant collects a little too much dog hair, but that's not really a manufacturing defect ).

    Yellow,
Your dog is beautiful. The boys would so very much love to have a dog, unfortunately our cat thinks differently.

Thank you. She's quite the love!

We had the cats fist, BD (before dog), and they took it all pretty well. Of course Pi doesn't really show much interest in the cats; she'd much rather hang out with the people (since people give out biscuits and cats do not). We recently acquired a second dog (another Lab), an adult that has apparently never been around cats. She can't figure out why the cats won't play with her, but she doesn't push it with them. All is harmonious. Now if they (the dogs) were some other breed that is biologically programmed to chase small fast animals, well...could be a different story.

Sure, I'm so sorry for my delay. Sadly I pulled it out of a sale bin, years ago, and I don't know if they still make anything like it. Only paid $16 for it! It's basically a thin but pretty dense polarfleece, just one layer of that, and fits pretty snugly. It's a bright gold color, so doubles as something that lets drivers see me.

Glad to hear you found a vest! It looks a lot like mine.
