I am SO glad you are here to type and tell about it... it must have been very scary for your friends as well... I have been with 2 friends who have crashed and both times I swear my heart stopped for a moment til I saw them move...

As to the meds, remember that your body having pain is it's way of telling you something is wrong... the meds keep it relaxed enough to allow the healing process to happen... I have to say, I hate taking stuff too tho!
