Here's me on the right! with friend Kristin Roo. Photo taken by friend Kristin West when they came out to ride with me on the tour I took this fall.

Location is in North Central Oregon, somewhere near to Condon, OR. Note both the wind farm in the background, AND the sign indicating a steep grade. That day, we started in the John Day River canyon, so it was a day full of steep grades, mild headwinds, and not much shade.
