I think I'd posted an older shot much earlier in this thread...but here is a more recent one. This is my current bike taken in August. DH took this while riding next to me (and with a disposable camera), so it's a bit off center! (excuse the thumb!)

Here's me on the right! with friend Kristin Roo. Photo taken by friend Kristin West when they came out to ride with me on the tour I took this fall.
Location is in North Central Oregon, somewhere near to Condon, OR. Note both the wind farm in the background, AND the sign indicating a steep grade. That day, we started in the John Day River canyon, so it was a day full of steep grades, mild headwinds, and not much shade.![]()

I don't have many pictures on my work computer (and don't spend much time on the home computer), but here are a couple ...

I'll tell you what I think of bicycling. I think it has done more to emancipate women than any one thing in the world. I rejoice every time I see a woman ride by on a bike. It gives her a feeling of self-reliance and independence the moment she takes her seat; and away she goes, the picture of untrammelled womanhood. ~ Susan B. Anthony
Awesome photos ladies. I do so enjoy being able to put a face to a name.![]()
