40 miles. 45oF. Very light winds, and best of all it was mostly sunny. Saw an eagle land in a marsh area with a big fish in its claws, and proceed to do its thing with it for about 15 minutes. Also saw 4 pelicans - unusual for this area. Nice day to be out but by 2 the sun was low enough that it got chilly in the shady parts.

My toes are still cold. Think I need to try putting sandwich baggies between my socks and shoes. Not sure it's cold enough to wear full blown neoprene shoe covers.

These are perfect when it's cold but not THAT cold. These and a pair of smartwool socks are a great combo. I wore that combo today and my toes were toasty.
