DebW: library school. (or as it's known now, "Information Science" school) I love working in PT, but my body can't do this forever. I miss working in libraries and I miss working with scientists. So science librarian could be a good thing. (been thinking of it for about 20 years)

Gotta get moving on the application for next fall.

CWR, don't you have some pics like this?

Hmm... I dunno what would be good for watching this movie... I'm usually just so taken by the scripting and choreography that I can't really think of much else!

SO! It's OFFICIALLY OFFICIAL!!! I got the call last night that I'm officially hired at my new job! WOO! I should start the 13th, as long as my current job oks it, otherwise the 20th (that's when the full 2 weeks is)... but man, I want 'out'. SO EXCITED! W00t!

BMo3 - you had me cracking up on your son not wanting to run with his Mom!

Cyclchyk - so are we cool by default just for posting here? Wow, I'm glad - never thought I would be cool on my own, hehe.

CDubyaR - which would you like to see, the new or the improved??? Yep, that's the post I caught. I'm not sure who's the bigger instigator, you or Kit? (thinking out loud) Are they sisters? Separated at birth perhaps??

Let me see if I have this correct, Trek is our illuminate dealer (cuz of her shining personality) and Knot is the apparel dealer? This could push some of us buying junkies over the edge ya know!

Xray - hanging upside down already? I hope the morning light didn't bother you too much! What kind of mess are you creating today?

CC - I will live vicariously through your summer there. It's too cold and dark for me to ride at night now. Our Indian summer is coming next week - in the 50's! I'll have to bring my bike to work for a spin at lunch time to enjoy.

Lise - IL guy called last night and kept me up late talking last night. He wants to get together but we don't know if this weekend will work. I'll keep you posted.

OK, you asked for it. I'll post my profile link. The pictures are a year old and I, um, unfortately am a little heavier (the red dress does not look good on me at this point in time!). I'm working on it though. I appear to have Snap's issues of being good during the day and succumbing to the powers of the cookies at night time. But first, please raise your right hand and repeat after me:

"I (state your name), do solumnly swear to tell the whole truth and nothing but the truth. I will live vicariously through my TE/TD sista's plight of the dating-after-divorce-in-the-shallow-gene-pool that is central Wisconsin. I will laugh, cry, and laugh some more at the rednecks she is sure to encounter along the way. Chocolate, advice and copious amounts of alcohol (preferably white Russians and margaritas) will be distributed and consumed around the world throughout this ordeal, for as long as it may take to find a suitable mate. We will be using the chain ring rating methods (a scale of 1-5 chain rings with 5 being the best) for each sucker, er, suitor, who wanders into the web we have helped weave for this team project. We are currently using match.com as our source for prospective mates, but will do our best as supporters of this project to find suitable men from our own family, friends and fellow bikers. So help me God (cuz I believe in him and it's my pledge!)."

    Drum roll please \/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/: http://www.match.com/profile/showpro...g%3d%3d&lid=21

I'll try and get some current pictures up soon. If you can't see the link let me know and I'll have to cut and paste it here. Now, I think we need a project name. Any ideas?

Dar (who's thinking she probably shouldn't have had that last cup of coffee...)

Excellent news, Kit! Obviously you didn't tell your future employer about TE, or that security check might not have gone through. Oh, the stories we could have told!

Hey, Snap, I have a Palm and love it! I cannot recall, for the life of me, what particular one it is. (Just got it earlier this summer, too!) The wi-fi is cool, but most importantly I can keep track of project due dates, appointments and such. Handy for my bird brain!

Kits: way to go with the new job! WOO!

Dar - the profile is peachy! Very nicely written!

Unfortunately I don't know any single men in the midwest. Come to think of it, I don't know any here, either. But if I find any good ones I'll send 'em your way!

    Great profile, Dar!

Snap, I have a treo 700. I have had Palms for about 10 years, and the ones with email capability for about 5 years - basically when they started making them. 3 years ago I finaly switched to just using one unit for both cell phone and email. I had a treo 600 for 3 years and when the phone started to crap out, I got the 700. So far so good. It's not wifi, but EVDO or somethnig internet which is super fast.

Good one Knot - I like it!

Snap, I have an older Palm, but I've lost the stilus, broken the cover and have reverted back to a paper planner

Kit, congrats on the new job! Can I ask what it is??

Thanks for the kind words on the profile ladies. What's a girl to do with so little spare time? I don't know how else to meet people so I'm committing to more road bike rides next summer - now that's good strategy!

I haven't done squat at work today. The boss is gone and I'm spending too much time here. Not that it's bad, just a good way to get fired, you know?

Off to lunch, maybe I can get motivated to work after this. I can't exactly log 3 hours of TD on my timesheet for the day!

CC come on you know you want to join the humor thread... you just want to. you hear that little voice that says "join in on the fun". see you must listen to the voices!

X what is wrong with a lap dance? they are fun.

Dar i do swear, but i can't see your page because of work and damn gov't blocks! how did you find out about me and kit? who told you?

Kit ssssshhhh! only you know about those pictures. kinda funny you bring that up though because of snap saying WW. guess what my first thought was.

Snap hold out, its not worth eating away those WW points in one sitting. trust me, been there done that and felt like cr@p afterwards.

ugh. 8 days till massage. neck and back need it now. pain still lingers, not fun. i know its something serious and its never lasted this long. i'm getting worried.

Kit, congratulations! Will this be regular, day-time hours? Wahoo!

Dar, I love your pledge. I remember seeing some interesting looking guys in the Wisconsin area, I just didn't want to date anybody that far away from home. Stick to your guns, say no quickly to the ones you don't like, and you'll be clearing the space for the one you really do like.

KN, get going on that grad school application! My mother is a librarian, will retire this year. Hers is a "Master's of Library Science", a degree that no longer exists. My dad was a teacher, one g'ma a librarian, the other a teacher...you get the idea! I think Science Librarian sounds like a great job.

I haven't seen J. for three whole days. We get to spend most of tomorrow and Sunday together. Really looking forward to that. Tonight I'm going to see Inherit the Wind, the play, with my mom. I've finally admitted that I have a cold. I have been calling it "allergies" all week, and I've been so tired from working all the call shifts that I figured I felt lousy from fatigue. This is not changing any of my plans, btw, just the meds I'm using to treat the symptoms!

Back to work at the clinic.
