When I finished my work today, I had just enough time to do a 13 mile loop ride before it got dark. It was 60 degrees, pretty nice out.
I wore the right layers to feel warm, but....one mile out I realized I was wearing my non-chamois tights. As it turned out it was not uncomfortable because it was only a 13 mile ride.
Halfway through the ride it was getting dim out and I stopped and fished out my Blinkie light and put it on my back saddlebag. Man is it bright! That bright steady red light made me feel a lot safer as I finished my ride in the dusk.
My leg muscles are still sore from the really hilly 26 miles the other day. But sore in a good way.
